We’re proud to share that a lateral flow test developed by Lateral Dx has been featured in the Journal of Clinical Microbiology!
The TG11-LFD was evaluated for its ability to rapidly detect Mucorales antigens in bronchoalveolar lavage samples, supporting the diagnosis of mucormycosis – an aggressive and often fatal fungal infection with mortality rates of ~50%.
The study demonstrates the LFD’s strong diagnostic potential, especially in combination with qPCR, and highlights its promise for rapid, accessible diagnostics, even in low-resource settings.
